Hawk Performance’s HP Plus brake pad is an excellent choice for Autocross and Track Day drivers, who are looking for great performance race compound that can withstand the heat of the track and still get the drivers home safely. HP Plus uses a different Ferro-Carbon friction compound that was made and manufactured only for Autocross, Solo, and Track Day applications. This material provides lower wear rates and higher torque values than other friction materials. HP Plus brake pads are the perfect upgrade over stock pads for high-performance street cars which are used in Autocross competition, or that are subjected to racing-style having wide and linear torque range. All Hawk Performance compounds are designed to work with Iron/Metal rotors and are not compatible with carbon-ceramic rotors.
